Runner Up: Debbie and Steve Allan - Bacon & Egg Pie (55 points)
Third: Marcia Eastwood - Chicken, Leek & Creamy Mushroom (52.5 points)

Best Pate: George Jones - Tangaroa Pate

Best Sweet Pie: Kate van Kan - Apple Pie (72.5 points)
Runner up: Ben's Giant Cookie and Steve Allan's Fruit Pie (both 70 points)

What a great night. Nice people, great food and fun and games. It was as so often hard to judge which Pie I liked best. And if yo

u thought too long about it your favorite one was gone. Nobody ever goes home hungry after a Fairburn Hall Food Competition. You be the judge, you eat and you judge. Its a tough job but someone has to do it.

The night ended with chatting and joking. What a great event. l as the cookies the children made. Ben's giant cookie took the price followed closely by Laurel's brownies which were delicious.
